Accenture and other big firms will survive without H1b by recruiting GC holders ,Citizens, L1 and B1. So there will not be any long term impact because of this bill. Still most of the H1 cap will be filled as the companies will try to comply the regulations. I do not see any issue in proving that no USA workers available if it is really the case. Right now if H1b and US worker is available with same skills Indian companies are purposefully avoiding US workers for obivious reasons. We everyone aware of it. Because we are impacted personally we are opposing this bill. This attitude will not win. We should be ready for some compromise if deadlock


Why to you want to discriminate between one set of companies from another set of companies? In effect, discriminate between employees of one set of companies with the employee of other set of companies? Let me guess, you do not work for one set of companies but may possible work for another set of companies, right? I see some posts on the forum want to change the system as to best suitable their individual situation and they don't care if rest of the world is screwed.

With the green card backlogs, a lot of companies have many employees on H-1B status, waiting for their green card. As such the ratio of people on H1 to green card is increasing. Why do you want to punish the employee on H1, waiting for the green card for many years, because of retrogression? I am not able to understand the objective and rationale of your suggestion?

This bill is not just about limiting the % of employees on H1. It also says that employers will be "investigated" and "audited". "Investigation" is done when there is an allegation of a wrong-doing. So in essence, the bill says that as soon as you employ someone on H1, you have done something wrong. Even after listing the job on DOL website for 30 days and going through all the other stringent requirements, is that how it should be? When an employer hire an employee on H1, the employer is paying filing fee, lawyer’s fee and 8-10% taxes for hiring each employee. This "Investigation" and other stringent provisions to make it impractical to file H1 is simply to destroy H1 program. For now you may see the bill as to how it best suits your individual situation and then you may suggest how it further fit exactly into your situation before coming with an idea, like the one you suggested, but the bottom line is, this bill makes entire H1 program "non-workable" as mentioned by the administrator. And it applies to Oracle & IBM Consulting, PWC, Deloitte and every other employer.

First, I am not promising to solve anything. I am just saying that I will bring up the issues when I have my meeting. If this thread is a distraction, then feel free to ignore it.

Second, those who have participated in this forum over the past year know about the issues I was working on.

Reverting back to the original interpretation for allocating unused visa from other category and to oversubscribed country from the current new interpretation seems to be the only possible quick relief to EB3, though EB2 gets affected it is not going to be that severe.

If we can approach the USCIS /DOS for Admin fix in this area, this should be possible, given that IV already has some success in the Admin Fix area. But seeing the lack of response from core IV for this particular thread (Overall they do a good job) regarding spill over, visa allocation, makes me this, core IV is not thinking there is an error with the new interpretation or IV was one of the main source that was instrumental for this change. The new spillover helps only India (EB2) looking at the number of pending cases from China and ROW. China hardly has less than 1000 cases prior to Mar '05 PD for EB2.
I'm not sure what happened to fellow EB3 ROW members... These folks at least will be current soon.. and India / China cutoff date will move the later PD very soon.

Comment plz... I would like to see what ROW member thinks... along with folks from oversubscribed countries

Is it Ok to have one application pending in the Backlog center and a PERM Labor certification approved if the applications are for 2 different jobs?

I had observed this last summer also that most of the CPO emails are received at night. In my opinion, it is probably due to the fact that they run these external communications as batch jobs at night, which is usually the case in any high volume corporate type IT systems.

My wife and son are going to India on vacation this summer. Their current H4 visa got expired (June 2006) on their passports. They have a valid I-797 notice expiring Oct 2007.

However, I am applying my H1B extension next month and will get 3 years extension sometime in May 2007. I want to get them visa stamp based on my new approval notice.

For dependent H4 visa stamp, do they need their own approval notice 797 or principal's approval notice be sufficient to get the stamping?

Half the people I know (and yeah, that includes me!) are on vacation at this time... (talk about using up leave/vacation/sick time etc before the year ends :) ).

And anyway, the ones on vacation - and ones on not - are either
(a) Broke (holidays, gifts, parties etc)
(b) Not checking mails and internet (ditto) or,
(c) Want to forget their problems for at least a week or two before getting back to reality.

after filing for I-485 on Jun 1. Also filing for EAD for self and 3 family members. EB3 Nov 2001. H1B stamped in visa valid till Oct 2008.

Do I need to wait for Receipt of Filing?

Cancellations charges ( USD 200 per ticket - 4 tickets) and new tickets (difference of 300 per ticket - 4 tickets) will cost a lot. Anyone else in similar situations? Anyone know something? Anything?

YES, I am. Exactly same situation and did a lot of research. There is a good new for you man.

As far as I know, you can file for AOS and leave. Make sure when your application get's to USCIS you are here in US, after that you are free to go. You do not need to wait for the reciept. It takes weeks to get the reciept. When you come back you enter US using your valid H1-B/H4 and it does not effect your AOS application.

Filed: Nov 12th 2007
Received: Dec 18th 2007
It took them around 20-23 working days to approve my application.
As others have noted here, customer service is non existent. But they do seem to be doing the job well enough.
Just make sure you file well in advance and sit tight.

Starsun I would request you to put in another clarification for the benefit of all so that IV Core's stand is well known and published. Predictions & calculations help people to know what the ground reality is and plan their lives. Now we don�t have people on IV whether EB2 or EB3 being sad after every VB because everyone knows when to expect what and predictions and calculations IMHO has gone a long way in correcting that situation.

I read several posts promoting advocacy which is very good however they take pride in trashing predictions and calculations for no apparent reason it seems to be in fashion / vogue. If advocacy has to be promoted it has to be done in a positive way there is no need to trash predictions and calculations at every available opportunity. Some of these immature comments are very disrespectful to the effort that is being put in my many of us on the predictions blog. If some people do not like what is being done on that blog they are really free not to visit but unnecessary comments should really stop or be moderated.

Teddy. The intention of such post is to tell people that they need to look beyond spending time on predictions. Predictions can help people know the extent of the backlog. For some it is a motivating factor because they were in the dark until USCIS started publishing data. People used to think their Greencard is round the corner and had no idea about the backlog. So yes the data and estimations have helped get a clearer picture. And this has benefited our community. IV has worked for several months to get the data from USCIS through its agenda item in the past. Today USCIS is publishing data at regular intervals because IV community had participated in a mass campaign to get FOIA data from USCIS. There is a whole history of advocacy behind the data everyone is using for prediction today and it was advocacy that got things done. However they should not get stuck with it and have a more 360 degree view of the issue. For some predictions are a source of encouragement for advocacy work. People leading predictions can play an important role in giving direction to others and help solve the root cause of the problem.They should be urged use it for the advocacy work as well if possible. For example a good research document can be made to illustrate visually the extent of backlogs and wait times. This document can be then circulated to media and lawmaker offices. Do not look at predictions in isolation. Secondly, the data people are using is still incomplete and has lot of assumptions. I had posted some update on the data in the donor forum early this month based on a recent meeting. So predictions we see on the forums will not be fully correct. People need to use predictions as means rather than consider it as an end.

With parameshwara's anugrah, my status changed yesterday(Sep 1st, 2009) to "Card Production Ordered".

End to my long wait and frustration.

I wish and hope others get their card soon.

Thanks to ImmigrationVoice team for their work without them, USCIS wouldn't be so efficient and wouldn't have cared to process the applications in the order of PD. IV is doing lot of things which will help the immigration community and I completely support their activities.

I have donated to IV before and now I am starting a new monthly contribution for next six months.

Hi IV members!

I know many of us have been toying with ideas to increase membership. I wanted to start a separate thread just to highlight the following idea - Every member bring one additional member to IV.

Specifically, these are the bullet points I suggest:

1. By December 31, each of you bring one member to IV.
If you really think about it, it is not a difficult task. Every one of us knows atleast one person stuck in GC process, that is talking conservatively. It takes less than 15 minutes to call one person and explain IVs efforts and request his/her support.

2. By January 15, each of us take responsibility to get the member we brought to IV to contribute to the cause. And I am not suggesting any particular amount.

3. Each of take responsibility in having them update their information on IV website, so that when the need arises, they can be contacted (for sending webfaxes etc. like last week).

Also, whenever you bring someone to IV, please post on this thread (it will encourage others). I feel this approach will work, if we keep this thread alive, and try to stick to the time deadline (deadlines might not have worked before, because they were too long term).

Also, please keep this thread on track, without any other discussions.

So IV'ers, lets add ONE member, and get ONE contribution!!!!

Doctors are EB2 and EB1.
They are not EB3

Even Physical therapists are EB2.

EB3 are low level/entry level programmers or skilled workers with with undergraduate degree or diploma degree holders that use education evaluation service to prove that their diploma is equivalent to an undergraduate degree.

Now some of you will say you have masters degree and still are EB3. It does not matter if you have a undergraduate degree from IIT or Harvard and have MBA from Harvard. If your job needs only undergraduate degree your master degrees are useless. You are working in a wrong job and overqualified for your job. You should look for another job that needs your american masters degree. Some will say that their lawyer filed in EB3 even though they qualify for EB2. Now that is also a wrong excuse. If your lawyer and HR screwed you, it is your fault that you could not stand up to them. It is not USCIS fault.
What about those "lucky" creatures who worked for a desi employer? Desi employer ALWAYS file EB2, regardless of wht the requirement is. It is only the legitimate companies that actually bother about the "requirement" to file an EB2.
Anyways, its a moot point to have this discussion, since its not helping anyone's cause.

a lot has been said about non participation from the region nearby to DC.
but this post is about something very different. i would like to highlight the
very important role that our members and volunteers from tri state and the DC area played in the rally. they worked against all odds and deserve sincere thanks.

tri state: this is the most dedicated bunch there is...singhsa3, chanduv23, tnight, siravi, mpadapa, mbartosik, poonam and many others worked tirelessly against serious odds to cover the region with fliers and motivate rally goers and contributors. i'm sure i'm forgetting someone...very sorry...tell me and i'll edit :-) tikka whose commitment to iv is always without question made it to the rally despite serious work constraints and always set an example for others to follow. singhsa3 unfortunately could not and we were only too glad to stand in for him.
the two buses from tri state were arranged by singhsa3 and mpadapa and were superbly managed by laborchic and GreenGrass...sounds like everyone had a great time! we are all confident that the tri state chapter will build over time and will be a force to reckon with- how can it not- it has the most able leaders and volunteers there are....

i have to confess to bugging these folks on a constant basis about spreading the message, in retrospect it was not needed in the least...they walked the talk everyday, took time off work, posted and distributed fliers, called members and did everything one could ask and much more. please join me in thanking the tri state chapter for a lot of hard work and endless motivation to our common cause!

and then the local volunteer team from DC/MD/VA, superbly led by a tireless guy who had a full plate throughout - nixstor! i think many rally goers missed how much work was put in by the local folks, they ran a host program- picked up and dropped from airports and put people up. they were ready and willing to do all asked of them starting saturday itself, and on rally day they were responsible for the whole operation- marshals for the rally and ensuring that after everyone departed the two grounds we used were cleared and cleaned as needed. having been there myself i cannot begin to underestimate how much work remained even after the rally was over. i hesitate to name...arun, girdhar and samir- i know, but there were so many others that worked- that i will let the local team chime in here. a special word for sukh- the man is just incredible. from arranging hotels to buying stationary to arranging flowers and flagpoles to helping with the gurudwaras to running the uhaul and the van..and not least getting more than 800 placards ready for the rally- his work never stopped. we all owe a debt of gratitude to the DC area folks who made this rally possible.

let's stop complaining about what may have been for local attendance and instead celebrate the tri state and DC area chapters for what they did do and what they will...for sure ...in the future as well :)

KUDOS to the local team too, I totally agree, except nixstor kept saying he is not a local when you ask him for directions:)

Last month Ron G predicted the April visa bulletin and he did have a very good logical reason for it, he did go into details about it on his forum. He was NOT told by Oppenheimer what the bulletin was going to look like.

Ron only wrote to Oppenheimer to clarify the April Bulletin�s wording after it came out about visa number flow from EB1 to EB2 Retrogressed countries.

I have to say Ron is pretty impressive, I learned a ton by visiting his forum, he knows a lot about the inner workings of USCIS.

For example I was under the impression that USCIS followed strict procedures when it came to PDs and that processing dates schedules were correct all the time. Now I have a totally different opinion.



it does contradict with what they said in April VB, but Ron said that his source is Oppenheimer. so I would go with what he said. remember, it was Oppenheimer who told him back in Feb or early Mar that India EB2 will have a cutoff date in April.

Thanks for your post and the "dignified" language of your criticism. In a public forum it is impossible to expect everyone to talk in the same voice. Dissent in inevitable. If you are a staunch supporter of the EB3 cause, it is your prerogative, but you cannot expect every EB2 person to fall in line with your thoughts and call them traitors. Is it a sin for EB2 people to join together and protect their interests and represent their case? Is it not democratic? What way is it inflammatory or legally wrong? I am only asking those EB2 people who feel that they would be affected to ponder over the impact of a re-interpretation. There is a legal avenue to port from EB3 to EB2. Eligible EB3 folks can certainly port to EB2 and get benefited.

A few EB2 and EB3 folks have spoken logically about working unitedly towards visa recapture. No one seems to listen. I am willing and keen to support the visa reacpture. That is a positive approach. However, if reinterpretation is the only route EB3 friends are interested in, then EB2 folks will have to rethink on their approach to the issue. Like it or not, that is the reality.

I am jumping ahead of the situation here, but I just wanted to see what other members think/know. Assuming that the 90K visa recapture happens, It doesnt take too long for them to be used up in the current situation where there are a lot of people with labors and approved 140's (w/PERM). Not every one will have an oppurtunity to file for a new labor and file for 485. If DOS makes the PD's current / post Mar 2005, wouldn't it be unfair to people who labors are pending for 3 yrs. How does this work out in the previous recapture? HLG doesnt say about numbers being forwarded to the next year though.
HLG wants to give these 90 K to the healthcare professionals Schedule A only...So I donot know about you but I donot get anything for sure.....Even if the recapture is for all categories it would not make much difference....May be EB3 ROW would become current...and EB2 India dates would move a bit....

EB3 Other workers has the most wait time compared to EB3 general. So by your logic people who are waiters, chef, janitors and farm workers should get the greecards before you. :D

And what will happen if CIR passed. All 13 million will be in a category that will be most backlogged. Should they get all greencards before you?

Well, thats spillover... Its not that USCIS is going to allocate more visas for EB3 or more Visas. So spillover, yes!

this is not just a question of depriving those who did not come.
let's please recognise that many people did have genuine compulsions as well.
the more important issue at hand is that sensitive information should not be released on an open forum. state chapters are free to organize live meetings and brief their members on lawmaker meeting experiences. those who attend chapter sessions are welcome to participate and learn- and join in for future meetings which should continue at the district/state level.

Unfortunately your friend is correct - the alternate I can think is withdraw your present application and file I-140 and I-485 simultaneously now - other please tell whether this will be a good approach for their benefit. Can EB3 file concurrently I 140 and I 485.
But how to revoke an already submitted I-140 Eb-2?

By the way, many a time such a case would be issued an RFE and then you could change (not aware of the exact terminology for this) it to Eb-3.

Hello All,
I e-Filed my EAD at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC).

E-Filed on 04/15/10
Documents received by NSC on 04/16/10 and had a LUD.
Additional LUDs on 04/19/10 and 04/20/10

But after that no news.

Is anybody in the same boat who has e-filed around the same date or have recievd their EAD cards.

Last year was certainly a turbulent one for investors. Not only did good assets and companies sell off with bad, but the very integrity of the U.S. markets was brought into question. Financial firms spend millions of dollars convincing the average citizen that investing in stocks is necessary and prudent, yet the playing field is far from level. Fraud, naked shorting and other forms of manipulation are now endemic to the American markets. As Overstock's lawyer, John O'Quinn points out, “You have more chance to be treated fairly in a casino in Vegas.” How can you invest if you can't trust the system?
Jim Puplava, Mike Schneider and a few other journalists have exposed the prevalence of naked shorting on Wall Street. While selling short is a legitimate activity, naked shorting occurs when parties sell shares they don't own and don't intend to borrow, causing more shares to be traded than actually exist. Approximately 7.5% of the trades reported by the DTCC fail to deliver each day, and this agency is private and not at all transparent. Furthermore, 96% of all stock transactions are completed outside the official system and are totally unregulated.
Regulation SHO was enacted in 2005 by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to supposedly eliminate chronic settlement failures by forcing brokers to close out positions after thirteen consecutive trading days. However the regulation doesn't cover small and micro cap companies, or failures to deliver (FTDs) that are below a certain numerical threshold. Market makers were exempt from this regulation until last fall, and old FTDs were allowed to remain open. Some corporations remained on the threshold list for over a year consecutively with no relief from the SEC.

Chairman Cox admitted in July 2006 that there were many large loopholes in Regulation SHO which allowed predatory shorting to continue. Few firms were investigated, and even those brokers who were caught paid minimal fines. Almost nothing was done until naked shorting threatened “the stability of financial institutions,” according to Cox. In July 2008, the SEC banned naked shorting of 19 select financial firms. With this rule and the subsequent emergency order banning all short selling in 799 financial institutions, Cox admitted that naked shorting was a serious problem, but the SEC would only enforce the rules for certain institutions that deserved the effort.

The Commission has demonstrated where its real allegiance lies, and it’s not with the small investor. For years, hedge funds, brokerages, and investment banks soaked up fat profits by naked shorting promising companies to death. These shorts never have to be covered if the company is delisted and goes bankrupt, so it’s a very lucrative criminal practice. When some of these same corporations that preyed on small cap stocks suffered share price drops due to their hideous balance sheets, the SEC moved in to give them special protection.

Even with some of the loopholes closed, market manipulation still goes on. As Allan Young points out on his website, naked shorting is in effect another derivative like credit default swaps or mortgage backed securities. Predatory brokers can sell more shares than exist, as if they are buying a put (a bet that prices will go down). Sell enough shares and you can ensure your bet is correct. These brokers can later close out their naked shorts and avoid censure from the SEC.

Although the most egregious violations of the naked short rules have been eliminated, with corporations like Overstock now off the naked short list, much of the damage has already been done. Many solid businesses have been naked shorted out of existence, leading to unemployment and destruction of wealth for millions of taxpayers. U.S. citizens are angry and scared as they watch their stock portfolios shrink, and see their pensions in jeopardy.

This begs the question as to why the U.S. government would prop the markets up on one hand using the Plunge Protection Team, while allowing naked shorting on the other which pushes the share prices down. I can only conclude that the system is designed to redistribute wealth from small investors to elite bankers and hedge fund managers. Perhaps the stock markets were allowed to decline so the politically connected shorts could cover profitably. With the close relationship between Wall Street, regulators, Congress, and the Treasury Department full of former Goldman Sachs executives, it's clear that the average worker with retirement money invested in the market is at an extreme disadvantage.
The SEC suffered another embarassment with the revelation that Bernard Madoff ran a US$50 billion Ponzi scheme disguised as a hedge fund for several years. Only a tip from Madoff's sons to the FBI unraveled the scheme. In fact, the SEC investigated Madoff's company eight times over more than a decade and failed to find any fraud. A former SEC attorney is now married to Madoff's niece, raising doubts about his objectivity in examining Madoff's books. Even when Harry Markopoulos, a private whistleblower, produced evidence that Madoff's trading results could not be replicated, no one at the SEC took him seriously.

Congress has been quick to blame Commissioner Cox, a former colleague for the Madoff scandal. However, missteps and inadequate enforcement predate Cox, who has only run the SEC since August 2005.

Obama's pick to replace Cox, Mary Schapiro has many flaws of her own. She previously appointed one of Madoff's sons to a disciplinary board, making her judgement look very poor. Schapiro is currently chief of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, a self regulating body which has been even less willing than usual to crack down on Wall Street abuses during her tenure. She ran the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) under President Clinton, an agency that has been unable or unwilling to perceive the manipulation in the precious metals markets while pursuing collusion in other commodities. Schapiro stated she was inspired to pursue a regulatory career by watching the Hunt brothers' silver moves, so we know where her biases lie.

As an analyst, I spend hours each week poring over balance sheets, and reading financial statements of companies I may want to recommend to my subscribers. My task is made very difficult by the widespread financial fraud. While Madoff's results were too good to be true, other forms of deception are extremely hard to detect. Satyam is the latest scandal to hit Wall Street. Although the corporation is headquartered in India, Satyam has Fortune 500 clients in the U.S. and is listed on the NYSE. It has to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations just like any American company, rules that are supposed to enforce honesty and transparency. Satyam – which is Sanskrit for truth - was awarded the Golden Peacock award for corporate governance just three months ago, in an amazing bit of irony.

With all these scandals, no wonder Merrill Lynch reports that rich customers are demanding gold coins and bars instead of shares in “paper gold” like ETFs. Credible stories indicate that the COMEX warehouses are experiencing record activity as receipt holders seek delivery of their gold. Brokers are apparently attempting to discourage this activity to squelch metal demand. When trust is eroded, people naturally seek safety in an asset without counterparty risk like gold.

If you are a stock investor despite all these perils, how to you separate the wheat from the chaff? First you have to find industries with impeccable fundamentals. While commodities suffered greatly in 2008, I believe they will see a strong rebound in 2009.

Second, check the track record of management and look for any hints of impropriety. Third, read the financial statements and look for unnecessarily complicated structures or conflicts of interest: these are red flags. Fourth, if results seem unbelievably excellent, they may be fictional. Fifth, while you can no longer take delivery of shares in the United States, you can contact the companies you invest in to determine if you are on the list of legitimate shareholders or a victim of naked shorting. Sixth, diversify into several different companies so if one is fraudulent you don't lose all your money. With the danger inherent in stocks, I recommend only investing capital you can afford to lose.

I have 3 Years BS Degree in Electronics From Andhra University + 1 Year BS Degree in Computer Specialization from Andhra University.

Still I am kind of tense about my degree is considered as US equivalent degree. It accepted in H1-B, and EB-3 GC process. I am cross my figures until I get the decision from IO. I will give more updates later.

Mine is TSC and yes I got the biometric appointment last time. Also good thing is that this time they have given the start date of from the expiration date of the current EAD.

Senate Minimum Wage Bill Avoided Immigration Increases

It has come to our attention that some believe that the dreadful McCain-Kennedy amnesty scheme was dropped into the bill during its passage through the Senate, but NumbersUSA�s analysis of that chamber�s proceedings indicates that those damaging provisions were not, in fact, amended into the measure before it was sent back to the House on February 1.

Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA) did propose an amendment to that effect, but it was neither substantively discussed nor adopted before passage of the underlying bill. In addition, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced and subsequently withdrew an amendment that would have provided amnesty to illegal alien farmworkers.

On the positive side, Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) offered an amendment to H.R. 2, the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007, which would have dramatically increased civil fines on employers who hire illegal aliens. Sen. Sessions called it a �comprehensive wage reform� measure, playing off the �comprehensive immigration reform� term used by open borders advocates. He said his amendment was an appropriate addition to that particular measure � legislation designed to increase the wages of working Americans � because the salaries of low-skilled workers have lagged behind due to the large influx of illegal aliens.

Although Democratic leaders refused to let Sen. Sessions' initial amendment reach the Senate floor, a second Sessions proposal was adopted that day by a 94-0 vote. It would prohibit any government contractor caught using illegal labor from future government contracts for ten years. It is expected to face serious opposition by business and union lobbyists when the bill reaches conference committee.

Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) also introduced and withdrew a positive amendment that would have required that the employers of temporary unskilled foreign agricultural workers (H-2As) pay the greater of either the Federal minimum wage or a newly defined prevailing wage.

GC is given for a period of 10 years and not for ever.

This requirement means that you are not only required to have a currently valid Form I-551 at all times, but also that you must carry your currently valid Form I-551 on your person at all times. The Permanent Resident Card currently is issued with a 10-year validity. You status as a Permanent Resident does not expire with the 10-year validity. Only the card expires. The card is only valid up to the expiration date and must be renewed before it expires.

I agree with you, I kind of like the way republicans have been handling immigration issues in general so far. I am in New York and we plan on meeting Senator Schumer too anyway.

We should support their border, ICE policies, but the current president has also set a record for deportations. I also kind of see where americans feel that a secure border and deportation is a priority and its good for every body. We are implicitly supporting, as some are paying 2000 extra for a visa to fund border security!!

The difference between advocacy and lobbying directly is just citizenship.
many of us forget that we are in one of the best functioning/largest democracies, no matter its defects.

Of course the end result is we need a change in law for this, no matter what, and the only way to do this is with a Bill.
I changed the subject of this thread from 'New Bill', but the title is still the old one. We can do this in other ways too, instead of a new one.
